CMM Calibration and performance verification
The metrological condition of CMM is verified by applying procedures in compliance with national and international standards, in particular UNI EN ISO 10360-2 for the verification of measurement performance of lengths.
The test performed in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 10360-2 Standard has the purpose of verifying that the measurement performance of lengths of a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) comply with the specification provided by the Manufacturer (in the case of initial verification) or established from the same User (in case of reverification).
The international standard UNI EN ISO 10360-2 requires that a series of tests be carried out according to a pre-established procedure.
In particular, the tests envisaged concern the verification of the measurement performance of lengths (E-TEST) and the verification of the performance of the feeler system (P-TEST).

ACCREDIA certificate for CMM’s
performance verification
The ACCREDIA Certificate of the results of the performance verification according to UNI EN ISO 10360-2 is issued within the accreditation of the LAT206 Microservice laboratory by ACCREDIA-DT and ensures the competence of the Microservice Operators and the traceability of the measures produced.
It is an officially valid document in Italy and recognized in Europe and in the world by all the signatories of specific mutual recognition agreements.
ACCREDIA is the only national accreditation body, recognized by the State on December 22, 2009, born from the merger of SINAL and SINCERT as a non-profit association, and has assumed all the prerogatives of its predecessor SIT.
Starting from 1 July 2011, the SIT brand has been superseded and replaced by the ACCREDIA trademark.
